Welcome to the Duke Center for Science Education

In 2007, The Duke Center for Science Education was established with funds from the Duke Provost Awards.  The Center aimed to promote interdisciplinary research in science education and community outreach, civic engagement, and service learning opportunities for the Duke community. In addition, the Center provided state-of-the-art science education resources to K-16 teachers and their students.

Due to the retirement of the Center Director and to staff who have since left Duke, the Center is no longer active.  However, links with resources that are still available to the public have been retained in this website.  Any Duke faculty or staff who wish to resurrect the Center website can contact scied@duke.edu.
